The night was dark, grey and cold. Sarah made her way to her grandmothers house where she came to a hole in the ground that opened up to her like a sinkhole. There in the darkness she felt scared and for the first time she had no one by her side to let her know everything was going to be okay. All was quiet, everything around her not one peep. She took a few steps closer to the hole and cautiously looked inside the hole. Nothing but pitch black and darkness. Suddenly it started pouring rain that filled the ground with mud. Sarah couldn't control her balance, slipped and fell into the hole. Surrounded by insects and ground worms she started panicking because it was a tightly closed space and she was claustrophobic. She started yelling for help when an old elderly guy heard her creaming and helped her out. He took her to his house, helped her dry herself and took care of her until he was able to get in touch with her parents. Sarah did not wanna be at his house, all she wanted was to return to her house with her family. As she was planning to leave a thunderstorm hit and she couldn't leave anymore. An hour later the power went out and the old man who had helped her out of the hole disappeared and was nowhere to be found. As she looked for him the door suddenly opened and she saw a shadow for a quick second that later dissapeared. She ran out screaming trying to get back to her house. Sarah was all covered in mud. After hours of running she made it back to her house and was so relieved. She never wanted to leave the house again by herself.
