For this blog, I decided to write about this quarantine and this pandemic going on which covid-19 and my opinion and thoughts towards all this. Well first off I would like to say that I am not enjoying this quarantine at all. At first I was like alright a break from school wouldn’t be too bad but then a week later doing online work and everything it’s just too much to handle. I rather be in school and due the work at school then to have to do all lessons on my own and teach myself certain topics that I don’t even understand myself , I really miss school at the moment and I wish we could go back to normal and this can all be over. Also, another thing that sucks due to this virus is us seniors aren’t getting to enjoy our last year of high school and all the activities that are meant for seniors , we’re spending our last year stuck at home, doing all our work online. However, I also get it that social distancing is important to help prevent the spread from the virus. It is bad enough that we have people dying each day so it is important that we all cooperate so this can all be over soon and stay inside! I don’t like the fact that we’re all under quarantine but I also know it is what is best for the country so we can return to normal and the economy can also go back to normal and not into a recession. Hopefully by June this is all over and we can all at least graduate together with a ceremony because after all we have all worked to reach that point so it would be sad to see that get taken away from us.

    honestly, if i dont get to walk across that stage im going to have to make my own at home gradutation. this is just ridiculous

After finding out we wouldn't be returning to school again for the remainder of the school year, I felt a mix of emotions. It's sad knowing we won't be able to return or walk the halls again and as much as I didn't like going to school I didn't see my senior year end this way. Independent Reading              I am currently reading the book "Gabi A Girl in Pieces" by Isabel Quinteros. I started reading the book about two weeks ago and I'm on page 70. My book is a fiction book but it deals with real life topics just in a fictional way. At first the book was very boring because I just hate reading and anything that involves a book because reading is not for me! It is the most boring thing ever but the book I'm reading right now isn't that bad, I actually like it and found it interesting and I think other people would find it interesting as well. The book has a lot going on starting from Gabi having an alcoholic and drug addict dad to her best friend getting pregnant when they're only in high school, to Gabi having her first boyfriend and not knowing what to do when he tells her that he loves her.
